Trainee Equine Veterinary Nurse
Veterinary Nurses form an essential role in patient care here at Donnington Grove Equine. We are looking for people who would like to train, learn and qualify as Equine Veterinary Nurses.
The role involves supportive nursing in both our busy hospital yard and surgical theatre. We have a huge variety of patients and cases from foals, donkeys, leisure horses, sport horses and race horses.
We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, and dedicated people with a passion for horses and their welfare. Full in-house training is provided, followed by enrolment onto an Equine Nursing diploma.
This position would involve being based within our busy referral equine department, in Newbury West Berkshire. The position involves shifts, weekends and night work.
To train to be an Equine Nurse, you will need to have 5 GCSEs at grade A-C (or recent equivalent) including Maths and English, have a full driving licence and be confident handling a variety of horses, including racehorses and youngsters.
